The Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) Club Licensing Department has rejected some venues in the Ghana Premier.
Following the imminent resumption of the league over the weekend, the club licensing inspected the various match venues only to realize that the majority of them fall short of the stadium directives and the enhanced safety and security protocols 2025 based on technical and security requirements for Category 3 matches.

Some of the areas that were inspected were the entry and exit points, perimeter fencing, seating capacity, dressing rooms, safe zones, and other areas.
In the end, there were only five stadiums: TNA Stadium, Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, Dun’s Park, Nsekyire Sports Arena, and Kpando Sports Stadium.
Interestingly, the Baba Yara and the University of Ghana stadiums couldn’t meet the requirements.
The clubs that fall short of the Club Licensing’s findings will have to put in the necessary measures to secure a chance of playing at their home venues or risk the chance of playing at other game venues.
