GFA charges Elmina Sharks owner Papa Kwesi Nduom with multiple charges

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has formally charged Elmina Sharks Owner Dr. Papa Kwesi Ndoum for alleged misconduct during his team’s Division One League clash against Swedru All Blacks.

 



Dr. Ndoum is said to have been displeased with a penalty call from the referee against his club in the course of the game.

According to the DC, his actions not only halted play but also drew strong reactions from match officials, raising concerns about the conduct of club owners during competitive fixtures.

Additionally, the GFA accuses Dr. Ndoum of inciting players, team officials, and supporters against the referees.

In videos circling on social media, it depicts fans angrily charging on match officials in the game that took place at the Ndoum Sports Stadium.

As a result, Dr. Nduom now faces serious charges, including violations of the Division One League Regulations and the GFA Disciplinary Code. He has been given until Wednesday, February 19, 2025, to formally respond to the allegations.
