German Football Federation head resigns after World Cup group stage exit.
Oliver Bierhoff has resigned from his position as director of DFB after Germany exited from the ongoing World cup.

Oliver Bierhoff has served the German Football Federation for 18 years and will be a big miss for German football.
He said : ” I am clearing the way for a new direction”
DFB vice president Hans- Joachim Watzke thanked Bierhoff for his great service over the year.
He said : ” Oliver Bierhoff ha rendered considerable services to Ggerman soccer in the 18 years he has been active” he added that, Bierhoff deserves ” respect, recognition and thanks”
