Forson Amankwah, Bukari, Yegbe and others to replace injured BlackStars players

Otto Addo has called up some players abroad to replace some injured BlackStars players for the upcoming crucial 2025 AFCON games against Angola and Niger.

 



Twenty-five players were announced for the upcoming header but as things stand, eight players have recused themselves from participating in the two games for varied games.

The injured players  Inaki Williams, Alexander Djiku, Ibrahim Osman (Hamstring injury), Tariq Lamptey (Calf discomfort), Jonas Adjetey(injury setback), Jerome Opoku (Chronic back pain), Antoine Semenyo(patella tendon injury), Joseph Painstil (Personal).

As things stand, Osman Bukari (Austin FC), Ransford Yeboah Koningsdorffer (Hamburger SV), Forson Amankwah (Norwich City), Terry Yegbe (IF Elfsborg), Ebenezer Annan (OFK Beograd) and Kingsley Schindler (Samsunspor) will join the Black Stars for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

BlackStars will play Angola in Luanda on October,15,2024, and Niger three days later.
