Coach of the Black Galaxies, Annor Walker is confident about his side picking the slot to Algeria ahead of their fiercest rivals, Nigeria.
The two sides met at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium in the first of two games to see which of the side’s will pick the slot for Algeria.
At the end of the game in Cape Coast, Hearts of Oak duo Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Seidu Suraj ensured that Black Galaxies put themselves in pole position for the next leg.
Meanwhile, head coach of the Black Galaxies, Annor Walker in a recent interview has set his sights on securing a double victory over Nigeria.
“We are done with the first leg; we will be going back to the drawing board with my able assistant coaches tomorrow before we depart Ghana on Thursday.”
We also have some friendlies before the return leg, we will plan for a strategy because we cannot sit down for the Nigerians to overturn the two-goal deficit.”

“We will make sure we win or fight for what we have to qualify the team in Nigeria. For sure we are qualifying for CHAN”
Ghana will take on Nigeria at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Nigeria for the return leg of the double tie for a place in Algeria.
