The Black Maidens of Ghana are through to the quarter-finals of the FIFA U-17 World Cup after thrashing Finlad 3-1 on Friday.
Milot Pokua, Abdulai Mukarama and Grace Animah were in the score sheet as Ghana youngsters scale through to the knockout stages.
Milot Pokua opened the scoring in the 5th minute after taking advantage of a mistake inside the Finland box to give Ghana the lead.
The black Maidens continued with their impressive display and it payed off when Captain Abdulai Mukarama doubled the lead six minutes after the opening goal.

The Black Maidens were happy to go into the break with a two goal lead.
Finland started the second half in a well organized manner, they had several chances in the early stages of the second half. They continued pushing until the 75th minute when substitute Kantaten reduced the deficit for Finland.
Grace Animah sealed the victory for the Black Maidens after curling a free kick past the Finland goalkeeper to ensure that Ghana grab their second win of the tournament.
Ghana will play New Zealand in the final game of the group.
