FIFA Director for Member Associations Africa, Gelson Fernandes, visits the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence in Prampram
The Ghana Football Association’s technical center, which houses all national teams aside from the Black Stars and offers instruction for referees, coaches, and administrators, was entirely funded by the FIFA Goal Initiative.

In order to examine the current situation of Ghanaian football and the steps that must be taken for its growth, Fernandes visited with President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, Youth and Sports Minister Mustapha Ussif, and the Parliamentary Select Committee on Youth, Sports, and Culture during his visit.
He also had a conversation with the GFA Technical Directorate and the division in charge of the national teams on how to develop the technical aspect of the game in the country and the continent as a whole.
