“Our dream is to eliminate Coton Sport” – Emmanuel Agyeman-Badu
Emmanuel Gyamfi opened the scoring for Asante Kotoko before Richard Djodi pulled level for the miners to send the game into extra time. The scoreline was still the same after extra time, and fans were waiting for a penalty shoot-out to decide the winner but were surprised with the announcement revealing that there would be a second leg.
Fans showed their displeasure in the strange development after the game as they believed the organizers are only interested in the money and that’s why a strange second-leg is being scheduled.
