Exclusive: Sogne Yacouba rejects Asante Kotoko latest offer
Asante Kotoko are yet to reach an agreement with their Burkinabe striker Sogne Yacouba after the talented forward rejected their latest contract offer.
According to our sources, management of the club was in talks with the player’s agent on Tuesday to discuss a possible contract extension but the player and his agent rejected Kotoko’s latest offer.
Asante Kotoko will have to increase their offer if they want the player to stay at the club as both the player and his agent are ready to leave the club when his contract expires February next year.
The Porcupines are also trying to reach an agreement with the club’s captain Felix Annan before the beginning of the Premier League season.
Felix Annan wants $1,200 per month in his new contract and Asante Kotoko are likely to meet his demands as he is one of the best players in the country.
