Ex Ghana coach Otto Addo throws support for Captain Dede Ayew after penalty miss against Uruguay
The Black Stars of Ghana failed to progress to the Round of 16 stage of the ongoing World Cup after losing 2-0 to Uruguay in their final group H game.
Ghana needed just a draw to go through but lost to Uruguay who also failed to qualify fro the group.

Captain of the side, Dede Ayew missed a penalty in the first half after Kudus was brought down in the box.
Dede has been heavily criticized for that penalty miss but Otto Addo has jumped in his defence.
Otto Addo took to social media to throw massive support behind Dede Ayew.
He posted on his Instagram story “Nobody should forget we wouldn’t have been there without you”.
He further went on to say : “You scored so many goals for us!! Still a legend and a hero”
Otto Addo has since stepped down as head coach of the Black Stars after the team crashed out of the ongoing World Cup.
