Liberty Professional full-back, Evans Owusu, remains tight-lipped on stories making rounds that he is edging closer to a move away from the country.
The talented full-back, who joined the club in mid-season together with others (Prosper Ahiabu, Hudu Issa, Brite Andoh, and Razak Simpson), has become a mainstay in coach Andy Sinason’s setup since making the move to the club as a free agent.
Though Liberty Professionals have been relegated to the second tier of Ghana Football after over two decades in the league, the energetic full-back has shone his attributes which are said to have attracted loads of praises, interest from far and wide in the ongoing league and beyond.
“There are a lot of things happening as we speak, I don’t want to focus on things that will disrupt me, we (Liberty) have just been relegated from the league, it’s not been easy these past few weeks but hopefully things will switch up for me.”
“There are lots of also offers coming in from the Gulf, Europe, and others but together with my management we need to take my time and make the right decision for me, but for now my focus is on Liberty Professionals, “ Owusu told Saharafootball.net
Evans Owusu has been a towering figure for the club, featuring on seventeen (17) occasions, scoring two, and assisting a teammate in the recently ended Ghana Premier League 2020-21 season.
