Ghana’s Eric Ocansey signs for Belgian club Lierse SK in a permanent deal
Eric Ocansey, a Ghanaian forward, has joined Belgian second-tier club Lierse SK on a permanent deal ahead of the 2023-24 season.
Ocansey, who is 25 years old, signed a one-year contract with an option for another on a free transfer after his contract with KV Kortrijk ended in July 2023.
Ocansey has spent eight seasons playing in Belgium, starting with KAS Eupen in August 2015, after joining from Senegalese team ASPIRE Football Dreams.

He has also played for Waasland-Beveren, and after his time with them, he signed a four-year contract with KV Kortrijk in July 2019.
He has played in 127 games in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League and has scored 16 goals while providing 8 assists over the period.
In all competitions, he has scored 20 goals and provided 11 assists across the eight seasons he has spent in Belgium.
