Karim Zito, acknowledging Issah’s exceptional talent, compared him to Abedi Pele, a respected football icon in Ghana. Zito noted that Issah’s achievements at his age exceed those of Abedi Pele during his early career, advocating for his selection in the senior national team.
Speaking to Onua Sports, Zito said : “Abedi Pele was brought to Aburi at the age of 17. So, if he is 18, Abedi did not play like this boy at this level. If I were in the Black Stars, I would call him. It’s long overdue”.
His exceptional displays, notably in guiding Dreams FC to victory in the Ghana FA Cup last season, highlight his remarkable talent and maturity on the field.
Issah’s influence extends beyond local football, as he continues to impress on the continental stage with his scoring ability and creative playmaking in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Additionally, Issah was instrumental in the Black Satellites’ gold medal win at the 2023 African Games, further solidifying his status as one of Ghana’s most promising talents
