David Moyes impressed with Mohammed Kudus’ first Premier League start
David Moyes, the manager of West Ham United, expressed contentment with Mohammed Kudus’ performance during his inaugural Premier League start against Everton over the weekend.
Moyes acknowledged that the budding talent from the Black Stars is still acclimatizing to English football and emphasized the club’s patience in nurturing his development.
The manager pointed out that adjusting to a new league can be a process that spans several months, and despite his youth, Kudus has integrated seamlessly.
The versatile midfielder has shown promise in the Premier League, and Moyes intends to foster his talent gradually.

“Adapting can be a gradual process, regardless of how well or otherwise one is performing. I believe Mo has settled in nicely. He made his debut against Everton and put in a good performance,” remarked Moyes.
“He’s young, and we’re taking a measured approach, not pushing too hard or expecting too much too soon,” he added.
Moyes also delved into Kudus’s potential roles within the team, suggesting that he could operate as a central midfielder, on the right wing, or even as an attacking option.
The manager emphasized the value of having players with versatility, contributing to tactical adaptability.
“I think he could fill a role in midfield, but he’s also capable of playing on the right or up front for us. I find all these positions crucial because they offer us a range of options,” he noted.
West Ham United is set to face Arsenal in the EFL Cup on Wednesday, November 1, where Kudus is anticipated to play a pivotal role in this significant Round 16 Cup encounter.
