Daniel Amartey returns to full training with Besiktas after injury.
Ghanaian defender Daniel Amartey has returned to full-scale training with Besiktas following his recovery from an injury that sidelined him for a period of two weeks.
The experienced center-back rejoined the team on Monday as they prepared for their upcoming Europa Conference League match against Club Brugge.
Amartey made the move to Besiktas as a free agent during the summer transfer window after his contract with Premier League club Leicester City came to an end.

The 28-year-old defender made a promising start to his tenure at Vodafone Park, including scoring on his debut when Besiktas defeated Albanian club KF Tirana in the Europa Conference League qualifiers. He continued to feature in all subsequent matches until his injury setback.
Unfortunately, his injury kept him out of action during Ghana’s recent international break when the Black Stars took on the Central African Republic in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and faced Liberia in an international friendly.
However, it is anticipated that Amartey will be back in action for the October international fixtures, where Ghana is scheduled to play international friendlies against Mexico and the USA.
