Samuel Eto’o has been elected President of the Cameroonian Football Association.
The former footballer beat off stiff competition from the incumbent Seidou Mbombo Njoya by 43 votes to 31.
During his campaign, he spoke on better player welfare for home-based and foreign Cameroonian footballers and promised to return the nation to the indomitable status once on the African continent.
