Coach Karim Zito appointed head coach of Ghana’s U-19 male team
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has taken a significant step towards enhancing the country’s youth football infrastructure by appointing Abdul Karim Zito as the Head Coach of the newly established national U19 male team.

Abdul Karim Zito brings a wealth of coaching experience and a proven track record in talent development to his new role. With a coaching career that has seen him work with reputable clubs such as Asante Kotoko, Hearts of Oak, and Dreams FC, Zito is highly regarded for his ability to nurture young talents into competitive players on the global stage.
Having previously guided Ghana to victory in the U20 WAFU Championship in 2020 and the U20 AFCON title in 2021, Zito’s credentials demonstrate his ability to nurture and develop young footballers effectively.
