Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara has promised fans a better campaign for the nervy end to 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League season.
The former winners of the Ghana Premier League were on the brink of relegation and needed a last-gasp win over Bechem United to cement their status in the league for next season.

However, Ouattara squashed the team’s performance in the just-ended season saying they played below the standards expected of Hearts of Oak.
“I can’t say it is okay. It is part of the game. We are 18 teams. Everyone is struggling to get a good position,”
“Unfortunately, we struggled to stay. It is part of life, part of the game. We accept that challenge. We are going to work hard to come back.” he told SportsObama TV.
The Phobians ended the campaign 14th on the log with 45 points.
