CK Akonnor is a bad coach, he treated me unfairly – Appiah Kubi

Asante Kotoko terminated the contract of Appiah Kubi a few days ago, and the player has spoken out after his failed spell at the club.

Appiah Kubi stated that CK Akonnor is not a good coach, he added that the coach is ‘overly selective’ and has his ‘favourite’ players.

“C.K. Ackonnor isn’t a good coach. To make matters worse, he had his favourite players and was overly selective,” he told Sikka Sports.



“At some point, I resolved to be lackadaisical in matches if given opportunity due to how he treated me,” he added.

Appiah Kubi was released after the club failed to secure a loan move for the player.

The player wasn’t involved in their CAF Confederation Cup campaign and was rarely involved in activities at the club.
