Black Stars Coach, Chris Hughton and his Assistant Didi Dramani spotted watching Kotoko vs Karela at Baba Yara Sports Stadium
Ghana’s coach, Chris Hughton, attended the Ghana Premier League match between Asante Kotoko and Karela United at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Monday afternoon.
Hughton’s primary objective for being present at the game was to closely observe the players and evaluate their performances with the potential of considering them for national team call-ups.
Assisting Hughton in this endeavor was his assistant, Mas’Ud Didi Dramani, who also joined in monitoring the Ghana Premier League players during the match, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

Since assuming his role, Hughton and his technical team have been actively tracking the progress of players in the top-flight league.
Their presence at the stadium underscores their dedication to identifying and selecting the most talented individuals for the Black Stars.
With the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar and the Central African Republic in June, Hughton is expected to announce his squad in the near future.
There is a possibility that some local players may be given an opportunity to showcase their skills on the national stage.
