CFR Cluj recall Ghana’s Carl Davordzie from loan spell at FC Gloria
CFR Cluj has brought back Ghanaian striker Carl Davordzie from his loan spell at FC Gloria due to his outstanding performance in the Romania Liga III.
Initially acquired from Italian lower division side Camposanto Calcio in 2022, Davordzie was loaned to Gloria FC, a third-division club.
During his time at Gloria FC, he showcased remarkable success by netting nine goals in 12 games, along with five assists.

Recognizing Davordzie’s exceptional form, CFR Cluj has decided to recall him. His notable attributes, including speed, confidence in taking on defenders, and proficiency in one-on-one situations with goalkeepers, have positioned him as a valuable asset for the team.
Before joining CFR Cluj, Davordzie gained prominence in Parma’s youth system and even featured in the matchday squad for several Serie A games against top-tier teams such as Juventus and Napoli.
With his return to CFR Cluj, Davordzie aspires to exhibit his skills at a higher league level and contribute significantly to the team’s campaign. The club expresses confidence in his ability to thrive in the Romanian top flight.
