Caleb Ekuban on target in Genoa’s draw with AC Milan
Ghana’s Caleb Ekuban found the net in Genoa’s exciting 3-3 draw against AC Milan in the Italian Serie A on Sunday.
The former Trabzonspor player played an important role for Genoa, playing for 87 minutes and making a significant contribution to his team’s performance.
Genoa took the lead early in the game with Mateo Retegui’s penalty in the fifth minute.

Despite AC Milan equalizing through Alessandro Florenzi just before halftime, Ekuban put Genoa back in front with a powerful header three minutes into the second half.
Although AC Milan then took the lead with goals from Matteo Gabbia and Olivier Giroud, Genoa managed to get a point with an own goal by Malick Thiaw, resulting in a 3-3 draw.
Ekuban’s goal takes his tally to four goals and two assists in 26 Serie A appearances this season.
With this draw, Genoa is currently in 12th place in the Serie A standings with 43 points from 33 matches.
Ekuban’s impressive performances continue to be a bright spot for Genoa as they look to end the season positively in Serie A.
