Dreams FC coach Abdul Karim Zito has pinned his team’s exit from the CAF Confederation Cup semi-finals against Zamalek due to inexperience.
The Ghanaian side was battered without a trace in a game they were looking to pick a fast one over the Egyptian club at a heavily packed Baba Yara Sports Stadium following their goalless dawn first leg in Cairo.

He attributed their exit to a lack of experience in his post-game presser.
“It’s lack of experience. The boys only gave up after the third goal. I can do everything but if the players are not mentally stable there is nothing you can do. Antwi was doubtful but we forced him to play.” He said.
The host conceded two early goals by the 30th minute mark, via, Hamza Mathlouthi and Samson Akinyoola and a third in the second half from Mostafa Shalaby.

Dreams FC qualified as tops in their group, topping it up with a 3-2 aggregate win over Stade Malien in the quarter-final but a superior opponent in Zamalek FC stopped them in their tracks.
The Ghanaian side will look to bounce back as they play Soccer Intellectuals in the FA Cup.
