President of the Confederation of African Football, Patrice Motsepe, has voiced his displeasure at Ghana following the Baba Yara stadium ban.
This development comes as a result of CAF banning the country’s only approved venue, Baba Yara Sports Stadium for continental games due to the poor nature of the pitch for football purposes.

Speaking at a press briefing in Nairobi, Kenya, Motsepe described the situation as frustrating.
“Nothing frustrates me more than a national team or club side having to play home matches outside.
“You can’t grow football if the national teams or club sides aren’t playing in front of their home fans.
“Our conversations in every country is to make sure there is at least one stadium capable of hosting a CAF category C game,” he said.
