
Ghana Football Association (GFA) President, Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, has been elected to serve as a member of the CAF’s Executive Committee.
The Ghanaian football administrator got the nod to serve with 24 other members for a four-year mandate which runs from now to 2029.

Mr.Okraku’s appointment sterns from the development of the game at the grassroot level, ensuring that the women’s football gets the needed recognition and support as well as other viable areas of football in the country.

The GFA President adds up to a number of Ghanaians (Ohene Djan, Kobina Hagan, Nana Fredua Mensah, Samuel Okyere, and Kwesi Nyantakyi) who have in times past served on the CAF’s ExCo.
