The Confederation of African Football has appointed Egyptian referee, Ahmed El Ghandour, to officiate the Confederation Cup match between Nkana FC and Asante Kotoko in Zambia.
El Ghandour has officiated seven times in the Egyptian Premier League season and has given four penalties and issued 17 yellow cards, two yellow cards that culminated into a red card and no straight red card.
Another Egyptian, Ahmed Hossam Eldin, has been chosen as the assistant-one with his comrades, Hany Abdelfattah Mahmoud Elsnadidy and Maarouf Eid Mansour as the assistant-two and reserve referee respectively.
South African officials, Simphiwe Brian Xaba and Tshotleho Enock Molefe will be the match commissioner and match observer respectively while Baba Mohaeso Melephane from Lesotho will act as the game coordinator.
