
Champions Cote D’Ivoire have arrived in Accra for the 2022 WAFU B U-17 Cup of Nations qualifiers. The Ivorian team hopes to defend the title they won at the last edition in Togo but face opposition from Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Benin, and host Ghana.
Also, in Ghana for the tournament are the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria, Niger, and Burkina Faso. The four teams were met on arrival by officials of the Ghana Football Association and Members of the Local Organizing Committee led by Chairman Samuel Anim Addo.
The WAFU B U-17 Cup of Nations qualifiers is scheduled for the Cape Coast Stadium from Saturday, June 11 to Friday, June 24, 2022.
