Ghana Premier League side Nsoatreman FC have reportedly withdrawn from the Ghana Premier League following yesterday’s events that led to the death of a Kotoko fan.
Several reports indicate that the club feels they are not getting a good return on their investment in Ghana Football, leading to their decision after yesterday’s incident.
Asante Kotoko, on the other hand, is considering boycotting the league until appropriate actions are taken against the perpetrators of yesterday’s violence. The club will consult its Life Patron, Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II, before making a final decision.
Nsoatreman are yet to release a statement but have reportedly sent their decision to the Ghana Football Association.
