Breaking News: Asante Kotoko cancel Koforidua pre-season trip
Asante Kotoko have canceled their plans of traveling to Koforidua for the club’s pre-season preparations, Sahara Football can report.
Kotoko were set to embark on their pre-season tri on Monday morning but The club’s communications director, Moses Antwi Benefo revealed that the club canceled the trip for ‘football reasons’.
“We have received late options for our pre-season and for footballing reasons, we can’t travel to Koforidua for now. So we will train in Kumasi for this week,” he told Oyerepa FM
Moses Antwi revealed that Asante Kotoko might travel abroad for their pre-season preparations.
“There is a possibility of traveling abroad for the pre-season, we are weighing all the options, traveling abroad can be the third phase of our pre-season training” he concluded.
Asante Kotoko initially planned to spend three weeks at Koforidua but will continue training in Kumasi this week.
