Breaking: Kjetil Zachariassen not returning to Ghana with Kotoko team

Asante Kotoko coach Kjetil Zachariassen is not returning to Ghana with the team after the management made it clear to him that they can’t guarantee his safety in Ghana, according to reports.

Following Kotoko’s exit from the CAF Confederation Cup, Kotoko fans who traveled to support their team attacked the team bus and prevented the players and technical staff from entering their hotel.

The management of the club have reportedly advised Kjetil Zachariassen not to return to the country with the team as they can’t guarantee his safety following the team’s misfortune in Africa.

Asante Kotoko are yet to announce if the Norwegian has been relieved of his duties or not.
