Breaking: Hearts of Oak to face Algerian side JS Saoura in the CAF Confederation Cup

Hearts of Oak have drawn Algerian giants Jeunesse Sportive de la Saoura in the CAF Confederation Cup play-offs.

The Ghana Premier League champions dropped to Africa’s second-tier competition after a disastrous showing against Moroccan side Wydad Athletic Club in the CAF Champions League.

The Phobians will be looking for redemption in the Confederation Cup by beating JS Saoura to make it to the group stages of the competition.

Hearts won the maiden edition of the CAF Confederation Cup in 2004, after beating arch-rivals Asante Kotoko in the final.

The first leg will be played on November 28, 2021, in Accra, and the second leg on December 5, 2021, in Algeria.
