CAF announced on Friday that Cameroon has been stripped of hosing the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations. The Federation announced via their twitter account.
The decision was made after CAF executives held an extraordinary meeting in Accra on Friday.
According to reports, the meeting lasted more than 10 hours.
CAF says it is because of delays in the progress of Cameroon’s preparation for the tournament, due to start in June.
President Ahmad Ahmad says it will work to “determine a new organising country by the end of the year”.
