Black Stars captain Andre Ayew attracts interest from Turkey, Major League Soccer (MLS), and Saudi Arabia.

Ghana BlackStars captain, André Ayew is the subject of intense interest from a host of clubs in Turkey, Major League Soccer (MLS), and Saudi Arabia.


Ayew last played with Nottingham Forest, England during a six-month stint which he had to be let go after the club reneged on their decision to renew his contract once the season came to an end.

During the just-ended summer transfer window, the 33-year-old was thought to have had a host of suitors but none of the teams were able to match up to his demands. 

As things stand, the experienced player has confirmed his ambitions of playing with a club in Europe’s top five leagues and is expected to make a firm decision in the coming days now that he is a free agent.

Ayew recently received a call-up by Black Stars coach Chris Haughton as one of twenty-five players for the final game of the AFCON qualifying games slated for Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
