Black Queens intensify preparations ahead of Olympic qualification against Guinea.
In preparation for their Olympic Games qualifier against Guinea, the Ghanaian national women’s football team, known as the Black Queens, have intensified their training efforts.
The team has relocated to Accra to continue their preparations for the upcoming first leg match, which is scheduled to take place between July 10th and 18th.
Nora Häuptle, the coach of the Black Queens, has selected a 31-woman squad for the qualifier. However, this squad will be trimmed down before the crucial match.

Afi Amenyaku, the goalkeeper for the Ghanaian U-20 women’s team, the Black Princesses, has received her first call-up to the senior national team following her exceptional performances in the recent WAFU B U-20 Girls Cup of Nations held in Kumasi.
Additionally, Ernestina Abambilla, Jennifer Cudjoe, and Alice Kusi have made their way back into the squad after a long absence.
The Black Queens’ main objective is to secure one of the coveted spots in the Olympic Games, which will be held in Paris next year.
