The Speaker of Parliament Professor Mike Ocquaye made a donation of GHS50,000 to the Black Queens ahead of the AWCON to be held in Ghana tomorrow.
The donation is intended to motivate the players of the tournament which Ghana is expected to host and win.
Earlier in the day at the press conference the coach of the Black Queens expressed the desire of him and his team to go all out to win this tournament but also for Ghanaians to exercise patience in their expectations of the player.

The Black Queens open the tournament on Saturday with a game against Algeria at 15:30 GMT at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Musician Wiyala and Grace Ashey are expected to perform at the opening ceremony which will precede the game.
