The Black Maidens of Ghana have arrived safely in Guinea ahead of their crucial FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup qualifier, they departed Ghana on Tuesday.

The Maidens booked a place in the third round of the qualifiers with a 4:0 aggregate win over Senegal last Month in a two-legged affair in Mbour and Accra, respectively.
The team has since been camping and fine tuning at the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Technical Center in Prampram.
The game with Guinea is scheduled for Saturday, April 16 at the Stade General Lansana Conte de Nongo in Conakry with the return encounter happening at the Cape Coast Stadium on April 30.
Team Ghana are hoping for a seventh appearance at the World Cup since the inception of the competition in 2008. The 2022 edition will take place in India.
