Former Karela United player, Umar Bashiru has penned down a one-year contract with Ethiopian Insurance Corporation FC.
The 25-year old towering midfielder cut a career for himself in the Ghana Premier League with Karela United following a failed stint with Kotoko.
During his time with Karela United, he helped them to admirable finishes in the Ghana Premier League and it’s no doubt that his outstanding displays earned him a call-up to the Black Galaxies.
In the Ghana Premier League 2021/22 season he scored 13 goals in 33 outings to help Karela to a top-6 finish.
