Black Galaxies captain, Gladson Awako resumed light training on Monday after recovering from a slight injury in the friendly against Algeria.
Slyvester Simba replaced Awako in the 25 minute against Algeria last Saturday due to injury. This was a major blow to the technical handlers of the Black Galaxies.

Awako’s return will be a huge boost for the team as they continue preparations for the tournament.
Ghana will play her last friendly game against Mozambique today.
Awako is a doubt for the game as he continues his recovery.
Ghana will open her campaign against Madagascar on January 15 at the Mohamed Hamlaoui Stadium in Constantine.
