There was a moment of panic amongst the Senegalese fanbase and fans of Sadio Mane after the talented forward was subbed off injured in Bayern’s game against Werder Bremen.
Sadio Mane felt some discomfort in the first half of the game and was replaced by Leroy Sane.
Sadio Mane’s injury substitution raised concerns as fans pray it was nothing serious that would put the player’s World Cup in jeopardy.

Bayern’s Assistant Coach Dino Toppmoller, however, has revealed that Sadio Mane took a knock to his leg causing a nerve pinch. He added that the injury is nothing serious and that the player’s participation at the World Cup shouldn’t be at risk.
Sadio Mane has enjoyed his new life at Bayern Munich; he has scored six goals in fourteen games so far in the Bundesliga.
