Baba Rahman bound for PAOK Thessaloniki loan move from Chelsea
Ghana defender Abdul Rahman Baba is close to joining Greek club PAOK Thessaloniki on loan from Chelsea.
The full-back is bound to for a six-month loan move to PAOK to try and get his career back on track having spent six months with the Blues’ U23 team.
The 26-year-old arrived at Chelsea in August 2015 from German Bundesliga side Augsburg for a fee of around €26 million but has found his chances limited coupled with series of injuries.
This will add up to other loan deals (Schalke, Reims, and Mallorca) he has had in the past.
