Hearts Of Oak were dominant at the Gyandu Park on Sunday as they registered a 4-0 victory against Sekondi Hasaacas in a friendly game. Joseph Esso opened the scoring for the Phobians after converting a spot kick to put his team in front, Kojo Obeng Jnr scored the second goal fifteen minutes later after pouncing on a rebound to double the lead for his side. Menaf Umar scored through a counter-attack and later completed his brace after heading in a fine cross from the right.

Asante Kotoko experienced first defeat in their African Campaign on Sunday evening when they lost their game against Al Hilal in Ombdurman, Sudan. The porcupines had a night to forget as they fell short in Sudan. Al Hilal scored in the 4oth minute through Waleed Bakhiek Hamid who connected with a headed pass from Nasr El Din Shigel to put his team in front. Ghana will wait till Monday to play their first game in the u20 Africa Cup Of Nations after their game against Burkina Faso originally scheduled for Sunday was called off. The CAF U20 Africa Cup of Nations kicked off on Saturday 2nd of February in Niger. Host nation Niger were held by South Africa while Nigeria were dominant against Burundi as they registered the first win of the tournament. Ghanaian striker Dauda Mohammed has completed a move to Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem on a six months loan deal on Thursday before the Eredivisie transfer window was closed. Dauda moved from Belgian side Anderlecht in search of more playing time in the Netherlands. Vitesse will have the liberty to make the loan move a permanent one if the player turns out to be the real deal. Ghana coach Jimmy Cobblah has submitted his final 21-man squad to CAF for the 2019 U20 Cup of Nations in Niger which starts this weekend.
