Ghana to face Nigeria in friendly game before AFCON Nigerian Head coach Gernot Rohr revealed that the Nigeria Super Eagles will face Ghana in Nigeria as a build-up game ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup Of Nations that will be played in Egypt. “We plan to play build-up games vs Ghana (in Nigeria) and maybe Senegal.” Gernot Rohr revealed after the draw. Ghana will face defending champions Cameroon in Group F alongside Benin and Guinea-Bissau in the 2019 AFCON. Nigeria will face Guinea, Madagascar, and Burundi in Group B.

Ghana’s delegation in Egypt for AFCON draw A four-member delegation has arrived in Cairo, Egypt for the draw of the 32nd edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2019) scheduled for Friday, April, 12. The team is led by Dr. Kofi Amoah, President of the Ghana Football Association’s Normalisation Committee.
