Kotoko’s Interim Management Committee (IMC) Chairman, Nana Apinkra has voiced the club’s strong stance on not resuming football activities unless their proposals are fully addressed by the GFA. Asante Kotoko has confirmed the harrowing loss of one of its fans and other related violence at Nana and park against Nsoatreman FC. The two teams went head-to-head in the week nineteen Premier League clash. GFA Communications Director,  Henry Asante Twum has cited injuries as part of reasons Black Stars coach Otto Addo gave for not qualifying for AFCON 2025. According to him, after Black Stars exit, coach Addo’s report detailed why the team failed to qualify for the AFCON 2025. The President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku has been handed the nod to contest the Executive Council position of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) The CAF Review Committee after a series of background checks and investigations issued a green light after Mr. Okraku passed the integrity and eligibility test.
