Liberia President , George Weah has donated to the late Christian Atsu’s family. Christian Atsu tragically  lost his life following an earthquake in Turkey on February 6, 2023. Atsu was trapped for 12 days under rubble, his lifeless body was found at the apartment he was living in. President  Weah sent an entourage led by former Ghana player Kwame Ayew to present his eulogy to the player’s family. Ghana’s Fosu was the star an of the night as his team Rotherham United beat Sunderland 2-1 in the championship last night. Ghana’s Bernard Tekpetey eyeing a move to a club in  Europe’s top five leagues Bernard Tekpetey has recently been named  as the best foreign player in the Bulgarian league after a fantastic season with Ludogorets. Ghana’s Daniel Adu-Adjei has signed his professional contract at AFC Bournemouth. English-born Ghanaian striker, Daniel Adu-Adjei has signed  a two-year deal at  English Premiership side, AFC Bournemouth. Former players of the Ghana Black Stars have visited the family of the late Christian Atsu. Christian Atsu lost his life in the devastating earthquake that hit Turkey earlier this month. Atsu played 65 matches for the  Ghana Black Stars, scoring nine goals during his international career. Former Black Stars players and teammates of Atsu have visited the family house of the late Ghanaian footballer. Ghanaian defender Philip Awuki has joined Tuzlaspor on loan for the rest of the season. Awuku has joined  Tuzlaspor from Super Lig side Yeni Matalyaspor on a three-month loan after Yeni Malatyaspor decided to stay out of the league due to the earthquake that struck Tturkey a few days ago.
