Accra Lions attacker Christopher Acheampong has completed a move to Bulgarian side CSKA 1948 Sofia. The 21-year-old right back signed a deal with the Reds after an impressive first round in the Ghana Premier League, where he earned three Man of the Match awards. Ghana Premier League gaints, Asante Kotoko, will unveil a new 36-seater team bus ahead of the commencement of the second round of the 2021-22 league season. The bus was gifted to the Kumasi-based side as part of the club’s new partnership with the financial institution, Access Bank, in an agreement  that will see the two parties mutually benefit. United States Soccer and US Womens National Team have reached a settlement in their six-year fight over equal pay. The players will receive $24M, and USSF has promised to equalize pay between the men’s and women’s national teams for all competitions, including the World Cup. The $24 million equal pay settlement will be finalized once the U.S. women’s team and U.S. Soccer ratify a new CBA. The two sides recently extended the current women’s deal through March 31. The Football Association is investigating after Manchester United’s Anthony Elanga was struck by an object thrown from the crowd in Sunday’s Premier League victory at Leeds United. Elanga, 19, was hit by a missile as the visitors celebrated Fred’s 70th-minute goal in the 4-2 win at Elland Road. There were also numerous unsavoury chants from both sets of supporters. FIFA has announced the rearrangement of Ghana’s final play-offs of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria next month. The fixture which was originally scheduled for Thursday, March 24, and Sunday, March 27, has been moved to Friday, March 25, and Tuesday, March 29, 2022. Government of Ghana has increased the 25% Stadium attendance for Sunday’s Super Clash between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium. Stadia in the country have admitted 25% capacity since January 2021, as part of government measures to fight the novel coronavirus.
