Augustine Boakye on target as Wolfsberger draw against Altach
Ghanaian midfielder Augustine Boakye continued his fine form by finding the back of the net for Wolfsberger AC in their recent Austrian Bundesliga match against SCR Altach, resulting in a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Boakye, formerly of WAFA, wasted no time in making an impact, scoring a goal just nine minutes into the game after receiving a pass from Bosnian defender Adis Jasic.

However, Altach responded swiftly, with Vesel Demaku leveling the score in the 15th minute. Despite both teams’ efforts in the second half, the match ultimately ended in a stalemate.
Boakye’s impressive performance this season continues to impress, with six goals and six assists in 20 appearances for Wolfsberger.
The 23-year-old midfielder played a pivotal role in securing a valuable point for his team during the intense clash in week 22 at the Lavanttal Arena.
