Ashantigold 1-1 Galaxy Sports: The miners held in friendly game
Asantigold were held to a 1-1 draw in an International friendly by Nigerian Club Galaxy Sports Academy on Sunday, 1st December at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi.
The Miners hosted their Nigerian counterparts in a friendly game as they prepare for the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.
Galaxy Sports opened the scoring in the 13th minute via Joseph Atule who sent a low ball past the reach of Ashantigold keeper Frank Boateng to put his side in front.
Shafiu Mumuni restores parity through a penalty kick in the 23rd minute.
Both teams had their chances in the rest of the game but failed to convert them as the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
