Asante Kotoko to miss key player in Wednesday game against RTU

Asante Kotoko will be without the services of striker Samuel Boateng when they face Real Tamale United on Wednesday night at the Baba Yara Stadium.



The striker has been ruled out for four weeks after suffering a calf injury, he will not feature for Asante Kotoko in the remaining games this year and is likely to return to full training towards the end of next month.

Following Samuel Boateng’s injury, Prosper Narteh is likely to pair George Mfegue with his countryman Frank Mbella against Real Tamale United on Wednesday.



Samuel Boateng has been a real presence up front for Asante Kotoko and has managed to find the back of the net twice this season. Prosper Narteh will miss the player, however, his injury gives other players the opportunity to step up and impress the coach.
