Asante Kotoko reduce gate fees for Super Clash game against Hearts of Oak

Ghana Premier League side, Asante Kotoko management has slashed gate fees ahead of Sunday’s big game against bitter rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

This move from the management is jeered words wowing the club’s support base to throw their massive support behind the club ahead of their first and biggest game of the season.

The Kumasi-based club upon winning the Ghana Premier League,2021-22 title, automatically had to represent the country, Ghana in the CAF inter-club competition but fell flat to Burkinabe side, RC Kadiogo on Sunday in the CAF Champions League preliminary round game.

Now, management in its bid to get the teeming fans behind them has however taken the initiative to slash the gate fees and pleaded to them in a statement to come in their number and throw their support behind them against Hearts of Oak, this weekend,

Portions of the statement from the club read as the following.

“Management of Asante Kotoko wish to express its profound gratitude to our fabulous supporters who turned up in their numbers to support us on Sunday.

‘Sadly the results did not go as well as expected but together we will surely bounce back victoriously.

“As a token of our appreciation to our cherished fans ahead of our Super clash, the management have reduced the gate fees for the Super Clash as follows”

Kotoko will hope to begin their defense of the title their won last year on a good note, after they were ousted from Africa’s elite competition. This game will however be their first of the season, after games against Nsoatreman and Bechem United were put on hold due to their involvement in Africa.
