Asante Kotoko have reportedly received a cheque of $150,000 from the Ministry of Youth and Sports following their participation in the CAF Confederation Cup group stage games.
The management of Asante Kotoko received the cheque on Thursday morning, according to Sikka Sports.
This comes as a fulfillment of the promise made by the Ministry of Youth and Sports to financially support Ghanaian clubs representing the country in the interclub games in Africa.
Asante Kotoko bounced back from a defeat on Wednesday when they beat Zesco United to claim all three points and increase their chances of qualifying from the group.
